Updates to the Drinking Water Source Protection Plan for the Catfish Creek watershed
The public is invited to read and comment on the draft document for the updated Drinking Water Source Protection Plan for the Catfish Creek watershed. The watershed has one municipal drinking water system in Oxford County in Brownsville in the Township of South-West Oxford.
The updated Drinking Water Source Protection features continuous improvements to ensure the drinking water is clean and sustainable into the future and was designed to protect municipal sources of drinking water under the Clean Water Act, 2006. A comprehensive review has been completed that has resulted in proposed updates to the Catfish Creek Source Protection Plan.
The Drinking Water Source Protection Plan will is now available for review at the following locations:

- Township of South-West Oxford Municipal Office, 312915 Dereham Line, Mount Elgin, ON
Residents are invited to submit comments and questions online at www.sourcewater.ca starting on January 25, 2023. Keep in mind only comments that address the proposed changes of this public consultation will be considered.
