Accessibility Standards
Oxford County is committed to providing exceptional customer service and to making programs, services, and facilities accessible, including access to printed and electronic materials for all residents of the County, including people with disabilities.
Our policies, practices and procedures ensure we provide goods and services to people with disabilities in accordance with the Accessibility Standards for Customer Service (Ontario Regulation 429/07). View our Accessibility Standards for Customer Service policy.
The County has also established a Multi-Year Accessibility Plan, in consultation with the Oxford County Accessibility Advisory Committee, which outlines our strategy to prevent and remove barriers in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the consolidated Integrated Accessibility Standards (O.Reg.191/11).
See our Annual Status Report on progress measures taken to date to implement the strategies referenced in the Multi-Year Accessibility Plan.
All reasonable efforts will be made to ensure a person’s dignity, independence, integration and equality of opportunity are not compromised.
