Lane closures in effect now ahead of full closure next week lasting to September 2024

Springbank Avenue in Woodstock will close from the Oxford Road 15 (Parkinson Road) intersection to Keyes Drive beginning Tuesday, July 2, 2024. Lane closures at this intersection are in place now ahead of the full road closure next week and will continue intermittently throughout construction.

During construction, local traffic is asked to use secondary entrances located out of the work zone to access local businesses. A detour route will be in place for the road closure from Oxford Road 15 and Springbank Avenue South/Juliana Drive to Oxford Road 59 (Norwich Avenue).

Construction is expected to be completed in September 2024 but is weather dependent. Improvements to the intersection include a new right turn lane for northbound traffic approaching the intersection, removal and replacement of existing asphalt, ditch re-alignment, and installation of pedestrian crosswalks along the north, south and west legs of the intersection.
