Construction work in your community: Oxford Road 59 (Vansittart Avenue) left turn lanes – Intersection improvements

Oxford County is undertaking construction work in your community to improve traffic flow and safety on the Oxford Road 59 corridor.

About this project

Oxford County is constructing new left turn lanes at Ridgewood Drive, Pittock Park Road, and Frederick Street/Fairway Road along Oxford Road 59 in Woodstock, Ontario.

This work will include widening the roadway to install new left turn lanes and bike lanes, replacing curb and sidewalk, and completing grading and restoration.

Construction is expected to start in June 2022 and will continue to October 2022. Oxford Road 59 will remain open during the work and access to businesses and residences will be maintained throughout construction. Road users can expect delays and lane closures with flagged traffic while the work is ongoing, and side street access may also be interrupted periodically.
