Oxford Reads presents an evening with author Marcello Di Cintio
Paint nights, a book club, a cooking demonstration, and the Oxford Reads Gala wrap up the 2022 Oxford Reads experience celebrating Driven: The Secret Lives of Taxi Drivers
Oxford County Library (OCL) and Woodstock Public Library (WPL) are excited to announce the fall programming to wrap up the 2022 Oxford Reads experience.
The annual Oxford Reads Gala will be held virtually on October 22 at 7 p.m. featuring Calgary-born author Marcello Di Cintio. Hosted by CBC’s Chris dela Torre, the evening will be an intimate conversation with Di Cintio as he discusses his novel, Driven: The Secret Lives of Taxi Drivers. Di Cintio will talk about the extensive research he did in finding the unique immigration experiences, struggles, survival and perseverance that make his book so compelling.
Tickets are free
Tickets are free and available through Eventbrite or by visiting www.oxfordreads.ca. Patrons who register early will be entered into an early bird draw on September 30, 2022, to win a gift basket of viewing-party treats. The event will also be live-streamed on Facebook simultaneously.
