Holiday hours will impact administrative offices for the Oxford County Administration Building, Human (Social) Services, and Provincial Offences Administration Building (POA)

Please note the following changes to regular operating hours that are in effect from December 26–30, 2022.

For regular operating hours, please visit www.oxfordcounty.ca/connect. If you have an after-hours emergency, call 1-800-755-0394 and listen for instructions for emergency calls. 

Please note Oxford County services for Paramedic Services, Woodingford Lodge, and Public Works continue over the holiday period.

Oxford County Administration Building

The Oxford County Administration Building will be closed for the holidays from December 26 to December 30, reopening on January 2, 2023. 


Oxford County Human Services

Oxford County Human Services at Community Employment Services will be closed for the holidays from December 26 to December 30, reopening on January 2, 2023. For urgent matters, call 519-539-9800 and follow the prompts.

Oxford County Provincial Offences Administration Building

The Oxford County Provincial Offences Administration Building (POA) will be closed for the holidays from December 26 to December 30, reopening on January 2, 2023.

 If your driver’s licence is suspended
Visit a Service Ontario location to pay the fine and associated costs. 
 To pay a fine

Fines may be paid online with a Visa or MasterCard at payfines.ca. (NOT to be used if your driver’s licence is suspended) 
To file a request for Trial or Early Resolution

Complete the appropriate options on the back of the ticket and scan the front and back of the ticket (photos are also acceptable) and email to poa@oxfordcounty.ca. 
 If depositing items into the dropbox
Please email poa@oxfordcounty.ca explaining what has been deposited (payment, extension application, request for Early Resolution, etc.). All paperwork will be processed on January 2, 2023. A Justice of the Peace will review Extension of Time to Pay applications and Reopening applications on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. While the ticket states that you have 15 days to take action (pay or request an Early Resolution meeting or Trial), Oxford County extends the time to 45 days from the offence date until enforcement action is taken.


Oxford County Waste Management holiday hours and closures 

 Oxford County Waste Management Facility 
The Oxford County Waste Management Facility will operate with reduced hours (8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) on Saturday, December 24 and Saturday, December 31. It will be closed on Monday, December 26.

Regular operating hours for the Oxford County Waste Management Facility are Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. 
 Woodstock Enviro Depot 
The Woodstock EnviroDepot will be closed Saturday, December 24, and open with reduced hours on Saturday, December 31, from 7:30 – 11:30 a.m. It will open for a “bonus day” on Wednesday, December 28, from 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. The EnviroDepot regularly operates on Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Recycling is available Wednesday-Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. However, recycling will be closed on December 23 and 24 and open with reduced hours on Saturday, December 31, from 7:30 – 11:30 a.m.
 Tillsonburg Transfer Station 
The Tillsonburg Transfer Station large-item depot, which typically operates on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., will be closed on Saturday, December 24 and Saturday, December 31. Instead, the depot will be open on Wednesday, December 28 and Tuesday, January 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The yard waste depot is open Monday – Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., but will be closed on Saturday, December 24 and Saturday, December 31.
 Online bag tag purchases 
The Oxford County Administration Building will be closed from December 24, 2020, to January 2, 2021. Any bag tag purchases made online during this time will not be processed until offices reopen. A list of local retailers is available at wasteline.ca/bagtags.


Oxford County Library 

Please note that all Oxford County Library branches will be closed December 24 - 27 and December 30 - January 1. Any branches regularly open on December 28 and 29 will close early at 5pm.
