Project impacts

Traffic control

Access to property owners located within the work area will be maintained; however, intermittent restrictions may occur as work progresses. Emergency services, school boards and buses will be notified of all road closures and lane restrictions.

Safety

Stay safe and avoid the work area during construction. Respect work zones and obey traffic signs. Maintain a safe distance from construction equipment and vehicles entering and leaving the site.

Garbage & recycling

If access for waste collection is interrupted by construction, the contractor will collect your bins and containers and take them to a central location for collection. Property owners are asked to mark garbage and recycling containers with their house number so they can be returned to the correct property.

Water services

Temporary water servicing will be provided to each property owner throughout the duration of construction; no service interruptions are anticipated.
