(UPDATE) The Oxford County Waste Management Facility can now process, cash, debit and credit.


The Oxford County Waste Management Facility is currently operating as cash only until further notice. The debit and credit machines are not operational at this time. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this interruption. An update will be posted to www.wasteline.ca when debit and credit payments are available again.

ISAN Oxford invites members of the public to “Every Child Matters” flag raising

ISAN Oxford (Indigenous Solidarity & Awareness Network- Oxford) invites the public to the raising of the Every Child Matters flag at the Oxford County Administration Building on Monday.

The flag is being raised ahead of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30 to recognize and honour those affected by the Indigenous residential school system and also the 60s Millennial Scoops, in which large numbers of Indigenous children were brought into the child welfare system in Canada.

New well supply will help ensure long-term security and supply of drinking water in the community

Oxford County is hosting a second public consultation event to present the engineering design concepts for a new well supply in the Village of Tavistock.

At the first Public Consultation Centre (PCC) in December 2022, a location on Hope Street West near Optimist Park was identified as the preferred site to develop a new well to ensure the long-term security and supply of drinking water in Tavistock.
