Oxford County was proud to attend the official Habitat for Humanity ground-breaking ceremony on Thursday, December 1, 2022, in the Town of Tillsonburg.
This project was made possible thanks to the partnership between Habitat for Humanity Heartland Ontario, Hayhoe Homes, the Town of Tillsonburg, and Oxford County.

Wardens & Council in Oxford County exhibit

The Oxford County Archives is celebrating the history of County Council and the Wardens with a new online exhibit: “Wardens & Council in Oxford County.” The exhibit features a gallery of over 100 years of County Council composite photographs from 1896 onward and the official portraits of each Warden since the County’s incorporation. The exhibit also details the life stories and achievements of the County Wardens from the very first Warden elected in 1850, to the present day.
