At home or at work, fats, oils and grease (FOG) should never go down the drain.
Oxford County safely treats residential and industrial wastewater that goes down drains and into sewers, but keeping our infrastructure running is everyone’s responsibility. Fats, oils and grease can clog drains, leading to costly plumbing repairs, potentially both for the homeowner and the County, which in turn can impact rates. Industrial users can even face fines under the County’s sewer use by-law.

Oxford County’s new eight-unit micro-build at 738 Parkinson Road in Woodstock is another affordable housing project that has come on line this year as the County works towards its Strategic Plan goal of being “100% housed.”
