Ingersoll Brush, Leaf and Yard Waste Depot temporary closure graphicUPDATE: The start date for the temporary closure was originally announced as July 31, 2024. The start date has now been changed to TUESDAY, JULY 30, 2024.

The Brush, Leaf and Yard Waste Depot at 80 Pemberton Street will temporarily close from July 30 to September 20 or earlier while construction work on Pemberton Street is ongoing.

During this period, you can take yard waste to the Waste Management Facility at 384060 Salford Road in Salford. The facility is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Oxford County was unable to secure and operate an alternate location for the depot in Ingersoll but understands the Town of Ingersoll is working to complete construction as quickly as possible. The depot will re-open at that time: please watch for updates.

The Town of Ingersoll is reminding residents that the construction area is closed to traffic and public access. Residents should use caution when walking in the area, and parents/caregivers should ensure children stay away from excavations or construction equipment. The work will result in some inconveniences and dust and noise cannot be eliminated, but their effects will be minimized where possible.
