Holiday hours will impact administrative offices for the Oxford County Administration Building, Human (Social) Services, and Provincial Offences Administration Building (POA)

Closed for the holidays social media graphicPlease note the following changes to regular operating hours, which will be in effect from December 24, 2024, to January 1, 2025.

For regular operating hours, please visit www.oxfordcounty.ca/connect. If you have an after-hours emergency, call 1-800-755-0394 and listen for instructions for emergency calls.

Please note Oxford County services for Paramedic Services, Woodingford Lodge, and Public Works continue over the holidays.

Oxford County Administration Building

The Oxford County Administration Building will be closed for the holidays from December 24, 2024, to January 1, 2025, reopening on January 2, 2025.

 

Oxford County Human Services 

Oxford County Human Services at Community Employment Services will be closed for the holidays from December 25, 2024, to January 1, 2025, reopening on January 2, 2025. For urgent matters, call 519-539-9800 and follow the prompts. 

 

Oxford County Provincial Offences Administration

Oxford County Provincial Offences Administration will be closed for the holidays beginning on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, and will reopen on Thursday, January 2, 2025. If you have an urgent matter with Oxford County POA during the closure dates, please email poa@oxfordcounty.ca or call 519-533-5916. If the matter cannot be resolved via email or phone, an in-person appointment may be scheduled for December 24, 27, 30 or 31. 

If your driver’s licence is suspended, visit Service Ontario to pay the outstanding fine(s) and associated fees to have you driver’s licence immediately reinstated.

The poa@oxfordcounty.ca email will be monitored on December 24, 27, 30 and 31. Urgent messages will be responded to during these days. All non-urgent messages will be responded to the week of January 2, 2025. 

The disclosure@oxfordcounty.ca email will not be monitored during the holiday closure. 

 

Oxford County Waste Management holiday hours and closures

Oxford County Waste Management Facility

Regular operating hours for the Oxford County Waste Management Facility are Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The Oxford County Waste Management Facility will be closed for the holidays on Wednesday, December 25, 2024; Thursday, December 26, 2024; and Monday, January 1, 2025. 

Woodstock EnviroDepot

The Woodstock EnviroDepot is open during regular winter operating hours over the holidays. Recycling only is available Wednesday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., with full service on Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. There will be two “bonus days” for full service on Friday, December 20 and Friday, December 27, from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Tillsonburg Transfer Station

The Tillsonburg Transfer Station will be open for regular operating hours over the holidays, Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

 

Oxford County Library 

Please note that some branch hours will change over the holidays. All branches will be open normal hours on Monday, December 23 and will resume normal hours on Friday, January 3. Find your local branch hours here and plan your trips to the library accordingly.
