Happy 60thanniversary to Oxford County Library!
After the passing of Bylaw No. 1781 in late 1964, the current Oxford County Library system formed in January 1965. Oxford was the second county in Ontario (after Middlesex in 1963) to establish a public library system at county level, and in its inaugural year Oxford’s new system comprised sixteen branches. Notice to Innerkip Branch Patrons
Due to icy conditions, we kindly ask that you use the main foyer entrance to access the Library instead of the south entrance.
For your convenience, the book drop has been relocated closer to the driveway to provide easier access. Please avoid using the south-facing entrance, as shown in the image below.

Please note that some of our branch hours will be changing slightly over the holidays. All branches will be open normal hours on Monday, December 23 and will resume normal hours on Friday, January 3. Take a look at your local branch hours below and plan your trips to the library accordingly.
