Well testing in your community - Municipal well testing near Optimist Park to begin August 3, 2021.

NOTICE OF WELL TESTING
Oxford County is undertaking a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Study to determine the best location for Tavistock Well 4. This notice is to inform homeowners who may be impacted by the upcoming pumping test at a test well located immediately east of the Tavistock Legion and north of Optimist Park. The test will begin August 3, 2021 and last between 24 and 72 hours. This testing may extend to August 6, 2021.

ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Oxford County is undertaking the Tavistock Well 4 Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) to help ensure a reliable and efficient existing water supply for the community, as well as ensure expanded water supply if needed to support future
growth and development. Stantec completed the initial test well drilling in February 2021. The results of the testing will be used to
confirm the location of future production.
