About the Beachville Area Air Quality Assessment

County Council approved the Beachville air-shed work plan on June 25, 2014 in response to community concerns about air quality in the Beachville area.

The assessment has been led by Oxford County Public Health in partnership with Public Health Ontario and the University of Guelph and in consultation with the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change

The project collected new, independent air quality data and examined scientific research on whether or not aggregate operations impact air quality and affect human health.
