Woodingford Lodge is a 228-bed long-term care home dedicated to providing compassionate and respectful resident-centered care. Woodingford's sites are located in Woodstock, Ingersoll and Tillsonburg.
In partnership with Conestoga College, we're offering a way for applicants to complete their PSW college program following an accelerated schedule while gaining on-the-job experience.
About the PSW FAST Program
The PSW FAST program is a fast-tracked, 21-week Personal Support Worker (PSW) employer-sponsored program between Woodingford Lodge and Conestoga College. The program is currently recruiting applicants interested in receiving training to become a personal support worker and are invested in making a difference in the health and wellbeing of individuals and families.
Applying to the program
To apply to the PSW FAST program, you must have:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, or 19 years of age or older with mature student status
- Grade 12 compulsory English, C or U level, or equivalent
- Previous post-secondary program (a degree, diploma or certificate from an accredited college or university) or experience in healthcare in the last two years (proof of current/recent employment in the healthcare field is required)
You will also be asked to provide:
- Copy of official transcripts
- Current resume
Applicants must be permanent residents. International students (those on VISA) are not eligible to take the PSW FAST program.
