Woodingford Lodge confirming first COVID-19-related death of a resident

Statement

It is with a heavy heart that we share Woodingford Lodge has had its first COVID-19-related death. A resident from the Woodstock site succumbed to COVID-19 on January 12, 2022. There remains six residents who have tested positive in this home area at the Woodstock site, which is isolated from other parts of the home.

Our sympathies are with the family at this sad and difficult time. I know that Woodingford’s management team and staff share their sadness.

Woodingford Lodge has made an exemplary effort throughout the pandemic to keep our residents and staff safe and to keep COVID-19 out of our three homes. This death and the latest report of cases does not diminish their tremendous efforts and outcomes over the last two years. Thank you to residents, families, staff and the community for continuing to support our efforts.
