Oxford Road 4, Oxford Road 17 & Lansdowne Avenue Watermain Extension and Sanitary Forcemain – Phase 1 and Phase 2

On behalf of the Consulting Engineer, Oxford County is requesting residents and/or property owners within the limits of the upcoming construction project complete a property well survey. The information provided by the surveys will be reviewed by the Consulting Engineer to determine any necessary dewatering considerations. Not all water supply wells are included in the Ministry of Environment Conservation and Parks (MECP) Water Well Record database. This survey will provide valuable information, and your participation is greatly appreciated.

Oxford County is undertaking construction to extend the water distribution system along Oxford Road 4, Oxford Road 17 and Lansdowne Avenue to accommodate existing and long-term growth needs in the City of Woodstock. Under this contract, to minimize future disruptions, a new forcemain will also be installed along Lansdowne Avenue but will not be placed into service until the future associated sewage pumping station has been commissioned.

Phase 1 Construction is expected to start in July 2021 and be completed by October 2021. It includes works on Lansdowne Avenue and Oxford Road 4, south of Lansdowne Avenue. Phase 2 Construction will include all construction works on Oxford Road 17 and Oxford Road 4, north of Lansdowne Avenue, with an anticipated timeline of May 2022 to August 2022.
