Oxford County's Waste Management Facility returns to regular hours

The Waste Management Facility in Salford has resumed regular business hours for residential and commercial users. Customers are encouraged to follow provincial health guidelines around physical distancing, and to avoid any non-essential trips to the facility. Customers who do visit the facility with essential loads may experience delays. Do not visit the facility if you are sick or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. More information.

  

Bag tags now available online

Based on feedback, bag tags are now available through online purchasing at www.wasteline.ca/bagtags. Bag tags remain available where many shop for food, gasoline and convenience items and can still be purchased on those outings. Read more about online bag tag purchasing.

  

Provincial Offences Act court closure extended to July 3

The Chief Justice of Ontario has extended the cancellation of Provincial Offences Administration courts until July 3 at the earliest. Visit the POA section of the website if you had a matter scheduled before the court between March 16 and July 3. The Oxford County Provincial Offences office remains closed for in-person visits; however, POA staff are available to serve you by phone at 519-537-4890 or email at poa@oxfordcounty.ca. More
 

County Council during COVID-19

In compliance with the State of Emergency declared by the Province of Ontario due to COVID-19, specifically measures to limit public gatherings and reinforce physical distancing, all Oxford County Council meetings are being held electronically until further notice. Accessing service at Oxford County Administration Building

The Oxford County Administration Building is serving the public by telephone, email, or appointment between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. only. This means the general public will not be allowed to enter the building without a pre-booked appointment except for deliveries. The designated entry point for all pre-booked visits is the Peel Street entrance (south doors). Once you enter for an appointment, you will have to go through a screening process that includes taking your temperature with a touch-free infrared thermometer. More.

Oxford County Human Services (social assistance, housing and children’s services) is serving residents by pre-booked appointment only, or by telephone or email. If you're a social housing tenant, please note that maintenance repairs will be limited to essential ones that impact safety. Oxford County Library

All 14 Oxford County Library branches are currently closed to the public. The Library continues to offer a range of online programming at www.ocl.net, and branches in Ingersoll and Tillsonburg will offer curbisde pickup starting May 27. Patrons at these branches can pre-order books online, using the OCL app or by contacting the branch by phone or email.To register for a new Library card, access your PIN, or inquire about online services, contact myaccount@ocl.net.

  

Oxford County Archives

The Oxford County Archives office is currently closed. Archives continues to respond to research inquiries through email at archives@oxfordcounty.ca or by phone at 519-539-9800, ext. 3918.
